We love you sweetie,Just want you to know we are here for you. Jeannie I bet old santa will read his letters first next time, lots of people ,but what the hell, they will only be here for the holidays,I am really enjoying them, dad is in Gilly's room,Auntie is with Jill,so that leaves 2 bedrooms, hell I will just stack them up .
Good for you. That's one of the reasons I could do without Christmas. Too much people invading my provacy. Pretending to like each other when in reality you don't get along the rest of the year. At the second X-mas day the smiles already get thiner and more forced. And on day 3...
You slay me but they are all from out of town, most are older people,I get along nicely with them Oh how I wish you were close,I know we would show you a good time..your man would have to stay close,I have a lot of single nephews, thankfully they are still working.
I live a long way from New Orleans,it is on the gulf..I am up north by Ark./Okla. border,I was born there..The say "NU OREANS" no it is not warmer there were snow there earlier,we have ice storms..I live in "Shreveport,La".
I visited New Orleans four years ago (one year before Kathrina) and I bought a t-shirt in French Quarter where they spelled New Orleans "Naw'leans" I saw it on the new. But it is rather iced rain than real snow. And more importantly, it doesn't stick. Yesterday it snowed in San Diego. Who told me that it is always nice and warm in California is a big fat liar. Brrr...
No,the ground never get cold enough, you had snow? They print the spelling that way for the tourist, but glad you enjoyed your stay, maybe next time you will come a little farther north,I was born in New Orleans,we left when I was 8 years old.
I was there in July. Beautiful city. I spent hours and a lot of bucks in the French Quarter. We even made a Riverboat tour and visited a Cajun swamp. We stayed in a lovely boutique hotel in a part that is called the "Garden District" South of the Dome. We staved 3 says then we left for Natchez, Mississippi.
I am glad you got a chance to see and enjoy ..it is so different P don't fhink it will ever be the same.Natchez is a beautiful old city,i love visiting ,I have relatives there.
