Fighting back against rumors they're splitting , Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie say they are going strong.Well, which are rumors and which is reality?
Finally, evidence that things have gotten really messy between Brad and Angie:On June the 5th Brad showed up on the Long Island set of Angie's thriller "Salt" for a belated celebration--she turned 34 the day before. After joining the crew in a chours of "Happy Birthday" Brad took one of the little birthday cakes and smushed it into Angie's face, says a source. It was really funny. Two days later, the pair were by each other's side again at "Salt's" New York City wrap party, says the source. This hardly sounds like a couple on the brink of a break-up,as months of breathless tabliod reports have suggested.[Brad's get together with ex Jennifer Aniston? Separate bedrooms? Talks with Lawyers?] The couple told People, through a rep that the headlines are not true and they are committed as ever to their children and each other...Hmmm.
What fanned the gossip? The couple have been rarely been seen out together in recent months. But away from the cameras, a friend says there's been plenty of couple time at their rented estate on Long Island. While Angelina filmed "Salt" Brad frequently dropped by the set with the children, on their last visit , the kids brought the dog. It's a hectic lifestyle, but some how they make it work. For "Mother's Day",Brad gave Angelina inscribed jewelry. So those rumors ? A friend says pay them no mind:"They are a very ,very happy."
Now for the rumors vs reality.(1)the couple is adopting from India..or Philippines, no wait, Angie's pregnant....reality...no new additions to the family on the horizon.
(2) Brad and Angie fought in Cannes..reality..they had a wonderful time.
(3) Brad visited Jennifer Aniston on the set of her movie and at a hotel...reality..'.it didn't happen 'says a Jolie/Pitt insider.
(4) Brad's mom dislikes Angie...reality...a source says that Brad''s mom and dad are close to Angie. My take on this: I always believe where there's smoke , there is fire...Maybe with all the men in Weirdwood going through their "Mid-life Crisis", here's hoping Brad comes out of his mid-life crisis (if indeed he has one) intact and with his family...stay tuned: to be continued...
