Instead of putting on a fake smile ,I will try smiling for real, there may be something I like about this person if I give it a chance. Maybe we won't become great friends, but I'll never know unless I open myself to the possibility. Now that's where my "Southern" charm comes in.
The thing about most "Southerners" is we recognize who our true friends are,and we don't have so many of those. They are the friends who don't wait to ask what they can do when we need help. They're the friends who tell us the things we don't want to hear but we need to hear anyway. They're the friends who know us, in both our good and bad moments--and love us as we are.
If you visit here in the "Bayou State". We are known for our great hospitality, music and home-cooking. Guys beware, our men-folks will charm the pants off your ladies..
Ya'll come on down...see you on the Louisiana Board Walk....
