Never was a friend...unless it was in her best interest...always first and her way....the ones she was seated with is very talented performers...she was very stupid..there are a lot of people would have loved to be there...It was the President/Mrs.Obama's day..I bet they was glad she left,tried of her complaining.Wonder how long before her husband leave again for good.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I don't think that the Celeb-adulation will do Obama any good in the long run. It was nice for the inauguration. But it has no place in day-to-day politics.
Most is waiting for the next big event....I am with you..after it is all said and done,we have to go on...red carpet/vip tent...it's another dat,we need to stop being so petty,and get on with the business at hand....we have a very active social standing in the community,I like to help organize,then I like to sit back and enjoy.

My daughters' day-care teacher was from New Orleans. She and her daughter participated in every social event possible. Which had people talking about her - and not in a good way.
I read about this and couldn't believe the pettiness of her over the top,diva behavior.I always kind of liked Mariah,not anymore.

Maybe she also wanted to be out in front...it is better to be asked...but in some circles it is expected of you...but you have to use common sense...remember there are others...I don't join in as many as I use to...with my ex. I entertain.it was expected ...you can get stupid with it...coming from a large family..all of them in business,I guess it comes natural for me...just help sit back and enjoy...you don't have to be in the lime light...I understand why they talked about her..you don't have to be seen to do good...just do it from the "HEART" for your own good feeling.....there is a certain responsible that go along with Gil's business,his firm handles a lot of stuff for the entertainment business....

She hasn't done her career any good.People remember arrogant behavior. Remember David Caruso's arrogance?He didn't work for nine years because he thought he was better than his colleagues.

ReplyDeleteThanks to a huge payout by EMI she doesn't need to work again ever. Her record company decided to sever all ties with her after the third album Mariah produced on their label flopped. They payed 145 million bucks to get rid of her. And there comes the money through the divorce from Tony Motola .
Recently, I have seen a documentary on her on E! All she does the whole day is to work out, shop and organize her closet.
Hard to believe that she once was a normal down-to-earth poor girl from Brooklyn...

Honestly, I don't know why her albums flopped. However, EMI announced that due to failure of success in record sales they would cut all ties with Mrs. Carey. There were a few artists who shared the same fate. She then went to a much smaller label which produced an album which did fairly well.

ReplyDeleteI was never a friend of flowery words. I tell the Baja stories the way they happen, the way I read them or the way someone who lives there would tell them. Whenever I go down there I ask myself "What will happen today?" It is interesting and frightening at the same time.
