Filipino fishermen take to the sea in makeshift 'fridge boats'

When their boats were destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan, fishermen in the small coastal town of Tanauan in the Philippines, managed to find the most unusual of replacements for their lost vessels.
Scouring through the rubble left in the aftermath of the typhoon, they turned damaged fridges into makeshift but seaworthy fishing boats. You can't  suppress  human ingenuity even in the face of  disaster.
