Latest Mars Pictures

These are the latest pictures of Mars, taken by NASA's Mars Rovers (remotely operated vehicles) which have been exploring the planet for an unprecedented six years. Their mission was originally intended to last three months. I think we got our tax dollars out of these little guys.

    My dear sweet lady,
It was very pleasent and nice to hear from you and know I am still in your good graces.
Yes it feels good to settle back and watch my grands, they are a lively bunch and we are so proud of Jonny, he's just as devilish as the rest of them.
I gave power of attorney to my son I know my family don't want to deal with him or my daughter.
My dear sweet lady, my daughter is a pistol and when those eyes get to flashing you better get out her way.
My daughter is amazing how she can tuned in to people and their feeling and my son asks for her thoughts and opinions and believe me someting he don't have to ask him she gives them to him just for the hell of it.
Yes, greed is an awful thing and I only wanted to share with my family. I don't regret the things I did for them, I feel the better for it. It is their lost to break ties with a kind and gentle man such as myself. My brothers is calling my son wanting to talk and he says he's very busy at the moment.
My dear lady, my son is not busy or during a damn thing, he is messing with their heads as he calls it.
My son and I have talked but have not decided on what course to take.
My dear Rhonda told my son she did not want hard feeling because of what I was doing and my son told her the only family I had as far as he was concern was his and not to worry her pretty little head he will make things right.
How is your dear mother, still swinging her cane I am sure. Tell her hello for me and if I need her it's good to know I can send for her and she will be here in two shakes of a rabbit's tail.
Tell your dear husband that things are looking brighter for the both of us and we can sit back and enjoy our families .

Now my dear lady back to your dear mother.
The Romeo she referring to is not the one that left her the letter so long ago. The Romeo she is speaking of now is your father and I like her is waiting to go to my Juliet (my dear Rosa ) and I will tell her about our beautiful grands.
I will leave you now I hear my daughter saying lets eat. I will return.
    Your admirer and friend.
    G.

  2. Dear G.
My apologies for not answering right away.I have my days when I don't feel too well. Add a little stress and a little fatigue and I'm ready to hit the hay pretty early and curl up beside my old man.
Nothing is so reviving and cheering as a bunch of healthy happy grandkids. Nothing like it in the world and now you have the pleasure of spoiling them rotten. That is the privilege of a grandpa. My husband takes advantage of that. They only have to mention they want something and he'll go to the ends of the earth to find it.
He does go a little overboard sometimes but he doesn't give a damn. You only go around once and you can never go back. That's all you get.He wants all their memories to be happy ones.

Never have any regrets. You did the right thing and gave your relatives the means to take care of themselves. Let them bicker among themselves. You don't have to be there to listen to it. Let your son and daughter be the lions at the door. Nee loves a good battle and it sounds like Gil does too.

I hope Mae is in good health and spirits. She may be a little disappointed in her daughter at the moment but she is staying with good and caring people and she will never be lonely again.

I think Jonny will make you all proud someday.Perhaps he is destined for something great. You never can tell where greatness will pop up.
I have a grandson who was born without an esophagus and consequently has been ill and in pain all his life but there is a force and strength within him that shines out of his eyes and you can feel it when he touches you. He has already achieved a great deal in his life at sixteen and you can tell that he will go on to be a great man and a brilliant doctor.
    He is my hero.

Rhonda sounds like a good, caring and hardworking lady. You'll rest easier knowing she is taken care of. You're a bit of an old rascal but I have a feeling that Rosa understands and approves that you've taken care of her.

My hubby is a strong man too. He has taken all the blows that fate has dealt him and come back fighting every time. I see it wearing him down now but he gave it his best shot and he has no regrets either. He's my hero too.

As long as you can get Nee to cook them I will keep sending my recipes for cullinary delights.

As always, your cyber friend Jeannie

  3. Post Script: All ladies wait for Romeo. If they can't have him they'll settle for Sir Galahad.
