Italian Classic Tiramisu Dessert Recipe...For 'G'

Ingredients:
Egg yolks (6)
White sugar (1 1/4 cups)
Mascarpone cheese (1 1/4 cups)
Heavy whipping cream (1 3/4 cups)
Ladyfingers -12 ounce packages (2)
Coffee flavored liqueur (1/3 cup)
Unsweetened cocoa powder-for dusting (1 teaspoon)
Square semisweet chocolate -1 ounce (1)

Preparations:
Combine the egg yolks with the sugar in the top of a double boiler; which is over boiling water. Then reduce the heat to low, and cook this for about 10 minutes. Ensure that you keep stirring this constantly. Once you are through, remove from heat. Whip the yolks until it thickens.

Add the mascarpone cheese to these whipped yolks. Beat this mixture until it combines. Whip some cream in a separate bowl, till it forms stiff peaks. You will need to gently fold this into the yolk mixture. Set this aside.

Split the ladyfingers in half and use them to line the bottom and the sides of a glass bowl. Gently brush with some coffee liqueur and spoon half of the cream filling over this. Repeat the layer of the ladyfingers, coffee liqueur and the filling layers. Use some cocoa and chocolate curls (these can be made with the help of a vegetable peeler) to garnish. Refrigerate this overnight, ideally, or keep it cold for at least a couple of hours.

I hope you enjoy it G. I miss chatting with you.

    My dear sweet lady,
Nice to hear your weather's cooled down a lot.
My daughter made the tiramisu dessert today and as usual she made two, they are delicious.
My daughter made the coconut one this evening, two as usual.
I am having a good time with the yard sale and it's going very well.
My son told me to stop pimping the in house begger out but he is so good at catching the ladies for me. He catch them ,I move in for the kill.
My dear lady, have you heard the calm before the storm ? Well that is what we are going to have here.
I feel so much better with my son taking over the reins . My brothers and their children don't want to deal with him but what can I say, this could have been avoided and everyone would be happy. My son is only looking after my interests .
My dear lady, the fun will began real soon. My son is working out a deal with Circus Circus. I will still have my seat on the board , my son has power of attorney and we are going to appoint my daughter to sit in my seat, I want to see the look on their faces.
My son asked her did she want to take them on, she would attend board meetings about once or twice a month. He told her with taking care of us and her bears which he's really proud of her for taking a stand and to let Nanette and Lois run the yard sale because she can't do it all.
I am looking forward to going to DC.
Thank you my dear lady for your concern about my hands,my daughter's family believes in herbal medicine it was my fault I didn't tell her I needed to go , I just forgot with all the hell going on with Mae and the rest of my kin.
I appreciate any information you give me.
My daughter tells me your dear husband is holding his own and doing really well, that is good to hear and I know you are well please with the results. It is always good to hear good news.
Now my dear lady how is your dear sweet mother? Hope she is well and not giving you to much hell, when you get to be our age the more hell you raise the better you feel. My daughter tells me you are an only child and so is my son, it is nice to know that he loves me even when I am cranky and just being downright ornery.
Tell your dear mother hello and keep up the good work because I don't think you or my son pays to much attention to us when we are being a butt head.
My dear lady I will leave you now and we will talk again soon so keep a watch out for me.
    Your friend and secret admirer.
    G.

  4. Dear G.
It is nice and cool up here now, with a little nippy chill in the air that tells us the snow is coming. We can breathe again and we are not moving in slow motion like a bunch of land tortoises. We got our energy back.
We are not thin blooded like you people in the tropical areas. I guess after sixty plus years, your body has adapted to the heat down there.
I have heard that things are very hectic down there. Nanette keeps me informed and Nee.Some of your family members sound like nasty customers.Don't go down a dark alley with any of them. And always keep your back to the wall. Keep your gun loaded (the other gun...not the one you're thinking about)
They are not going to like the arrangements your son has made. There will be major fireworks. You will probably enjoy every minute of it. They will look absolutely gob-smacked when they see who they have to deal with; the very one they called a gold-digger...HA!

I am so glad you liked the Tiramisu. It is one dessert I have never tasted. I was looking for a recipe for English trifle when I came across it.
I have looked on the internet for some reasonable sounding treatment for your arthritis. Oriental remedies are usually good. I have found a couple and will give Nee the websites.
Suppose I told you the best cure for arthritic hands was filling your gloves with warm dog doo-doo and wearing them while standing on your head whistling 'Dixie'; would you do it?
I have heard from a certain lady that you are the 'star' salesman at the barn. You charm the ladies and even let them stroke your hair, just to get them to buy something. And as for using a little baby as a shill, well, that's just unethical...HA!
How about that mattress lady? Did she ever come back? Oh, I hear about your escapades.
I didn't know that you were accompanying Nee to Washington. I'm glad you are going along to take care of her. She is a human dynamo. I bet she is hard to keep up with. I think you will have a ball and hopefully make a little progress. Even if you don't, the experience will be wonderful.

My husband is holding his own and I am so grateful and relieved that his CT scans were clear. He had a very aggressive kidney cancer and we were worried. We will all celebrate this weekend.
My mother still gives me hell and she invented the word 'cranky', but you only get one mom and so I treat her gently. We 'only children' know when to ignore you and when to listen.

I wait with baited breath for your next letter.... Your ardent admirer...Jeannie
