Wow. That bites, indeed. I don't necessarily fault the dentist for offering free services, especially since this dentist claims to be a fan. But I question the dentist's altruistic motives because the DDS went public with this letter--even hiring a publicist to solicit "Idol"instead of just sending Crystal a private letter and waiting for a response. If this dentist's sole intention was to help Crystal, then such a press release would have never gone out. So the whole thing is a little distasteful and suspicious.Crystal may not possess a mouthful of BriteSmile pearly whites, like most pop stars, but she's managed to amass a huge fanbase with her imperfect grin and near-perfect vocals. That's reason alone for her to keep on smiling. And if, after she probably wins the whole show, she chooses to pull an Elliott Yamin and get her teeth done, that's fine.
By then, she'll be able to afford to pay for the best cosmetic dentistry money can buy.
If you're looking for affordable dental care, check online first. Sometimes clinics to offer special rates as their promotion.Just a suggestion though.
