Having fun at the Press Gallery Dinner

Think the Trudeaus don’t have a sense of humor? Think again! At the Press Gallery dinner on June 4, the couple cracked jokes, sang and recreated their very controversial Vogue magazine cover.  Haters gonna hate, but the Trudeaus take it in stride.


<p>For the event, which insiders often refer to as “Nerd Prom,” Prime Minister Trudeau jokingly asked his wife what she was wearing. After exclaiming, “Oh my God, thank you <i>so</i> much for asking,” she then jumped into an exaggerated description, ensuring the crowd that she was wearing Canadian. He even asked her who she was wearing and got her to strut her stuff. They may be newbies but we sure are glad they know how to laugh and to poke fun at themselves.
