President Obama made a whirlwind visit to Canada on Feb.19.He was welcomed with enthusiasm by Canadians.He lapped up the love and returned some,by stating,"I love this country".This is his first trip outside the US since becoming president.
He promised collaboration on troubled economy issues.He also agreed to work together with Canada on combatting climate change(YEA!!)A"Clean Energy Dialogue" will be created,aimed at reducing green house gases.
He addressed the sensitive issue of Canada's continuing mission in Afghanistan.He did not ask Canada to extend the mission beyond the 2011 pull-out date.The president paid his respects to the soldiers who have given their lives for the mission and praised Canada for the amount of foreign aid we give to Afghanistan.
He went on a walk-about in downtown Ottawa,visiting the historic Byward Market.He was charming and gracious to all he met,calling out,"I love Canadians".He shopped,and bought presents for his daughters.

Oddly enough, she sometimes spoke on the Lair as if she were the victim of their unwanted attention, but it seemed that she did go out of her way to provoke them. Surely the "anonymous" comments that had the phrase "sweet cheeks" in them were her. She also said she was sorry that she landed them on the Lair, but it did seem that she was trying to egg them on in that regard to by cross posting salvoes on the Lair on her own sites. Surely that was the easiest way to bring them to the attention of the Loons?
And as for the Baja thing, it didn't seem like she was going out of her way to throw them off the track, was it? It's kind of funny that one of the news stories cited the Stupid Chronicles as being responsible for her being captured. If you thought Vixen was her, all you had to do was look at the "location widget" on the Lair to find out what she was up to!

She's usually mild mannered over at the Lair, and in fact an old reader of the Lair (the one who said she was getting bored with the whole Vixen thing back in December) once told Vixen off about a comment she'd made about economics, and Vixen's reaction then was entirely different. She said thanks for the correction, she's still learning about such things. But she was brutal to Lacy. Keyser sort of backed off once they started at it, but it was pretty clear that she had as much venom about them as they did about her.

And that was one of the things that led Keyser to think that you two were talking to her by email, as she seemed to be referring to a request made elsewhere.

ReplyDeleteKeyser's jocular attempt to get everyone involved to play nice was just a spur-of-the-moment thing, and it was vaguely gratifying when Lacy actually seemed to bite (Keyser never really expected anyone to go along). But then she told Vixen rather bluntly to admit that she was "sick" and Vixen responded with quick anger and pointed out all of Lacy's weaknesses. It degenerated rather quickly and Keyser backed off.
So much for making peace. You can lead 'em to water but God knows you can't make 'em drink!

They pretend to care about poor little DC (and who says he was in any real danger anyway?), but they were so malicious and nasty about it, and even if they really believed what they said, how could they actually think that their vituperation was likely to make him any safer (or her less a threat)?

ReplyDeleteWell, this is the point where it's hard to tell reality from non-reality. It's hard not to think of HMS as that woman on the Stupid Chronicles (whereas Vixen was of course that cute Firefox symbol). Vixen denied that the pictures of the children were even HMS's (though if she wasn't HMS, how would she know?). It was also odd that HMS and Putzer have different names. Maybe the real truth will now emerge from a reliable source.

And even if Vixen may have been a bit less than forthcoming about herself, Keyser generally got the impression that she understood what he was talking about (though she did once say something about not being so interested in the political posts on the Lair!), whereas the Crazy Brigade often seemed to miss the point of what he was saying. If you weren't screaming "She's Satan" they just thought you were an idiot.

ReplyDeleteAnd does anyone know what's with the big gap in the archive of one of her blogs. Can't remember the exact dates, but there's a hiatus from something like March 2007 until July 2008. What happened? The court appearance she didn't show up for is April 2008, no?

ReplyDeleteOh, yes, CorpusC is definitely one of them. The point being that even though she assumed that Vixen and HMS were the same person, she'd try to reason with the Head Haters (to little avail). She still comments occasionally on the Lair (not about DC or Vixen!).

CC-- What your sister said has basically been Keyser's attitude about Vixen all along. If she behaved herself on the Lair, what difference does the rest of it make? It's not as if she was installing "hate rays" to kill DC on the Lair (or even talking about him at all!), so what did the loons want?
ReplyDeleteBut it was weird to go over to DC Revealed" and whatnot and see how much time and energy she spent on him. Keyser occasionally wanted to ask her how she didn't get bored with it all, but he figured nothing good would come of such a question. We'll never know now...

ReplyDeleteThat's the nub of it, isn't it? Writing a letter and missing a court date is one thing, trying to kill someone for real is another. The loons always assumed that she was a real killer, but there was no real evidence of stalking apart from the blogs. And how many hostile bloggers are killers?

ReplyDeleteFor awhile she post every day on DCR....once in awhile she would put up a post here with his picture.The loons said Vix had put up a new blog...Wrong again,I didn't care.

ReplyDeleteAs for the deductive reasoning about the loons, they may have been right about the main issue, but they kept making all sorts of false assumptions - for the same reason that led to their feud with Keyser. *Everything* revolved around their desire to protect their would-be boyfriend, and their obsession turned into a sort of black hole that sucked everything else into itself.
Well, now that Vixen has shown both her strong points and her weak points, maybe in the long run she can find a constructive way to make use of her talents.

ReplyDeleteWell, it was also Keyser's point that egg her on like that was hardly a rational way to get someone to calm down. It was easy to make fun of them on that account, but it really did make things worse.

Their stalking was worse than hers.It was mob stalking.They derived a lot of enjoyment from ganging up on her.

ReplyDeleteYeah, wouldn't be half surprised. She'd post at the Lair, chat over here, and have lots of time for spying on the loons, posting on her own sites and getting into trouble elsewhere (seemingly at IMBD, for instance). Odd to think she could have had a job in Tijuana.
