  4. Anonymous9:49:00 PM

You can also cook it in a sloe-cooker...I did a strawberry once, but they are going to love these cherries.

  5. I was just about to comment on your post. What a tragedy six kids died trying to save him.

None could swim ...what was those parents thinking...the river has a lot of sink holes and they move.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Anonymous9:54:00 PM

It was down the river about 2 miles from the casino and across from Diamond Jacks casino on the Bossier side.

    ReplyDelete
  9. They should never have been unsupervised. All non-swimmers.

How is Nana ? What Brian up to /He better be good ?
Most important sweetie , how are you ?/?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Kids should be taught to swim as early as possible. Steve's wife taught her's at six months. They have always been as at home in the water as on land.

    ReplyDelete
  12. They can also be cooked in a toaster oven.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Anonymous9:58:00 PM

There mamas was there and it seems like that was a regular thing for them to wade out in the warter.
Both mothers watch their kids drowned.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I mean the crunchies can be cooked in a toaster oven ,not the kids.

    ReplyDelete
  15. So the parents couldn't swim either and no experienced swimmer was in the water with them.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anonymous10:01:00 PM

The girls know how to swin and we take Gilly to the YWCA and he is learning...Dad thinks the same as you the girls learned around 2/3.
Like you I think they should learn to swim.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous10:03:00 PM

I don't know about the parents...but none of the kids could swim and all was teen-agers.
I hope I didn't leave that out, checking my notes.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Anonymous10:04:00 PM

They wasn't suppose to be in the water...no life guard.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anonymous10:06:00 PM

    Whew.....I got it in there.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Good for you. It is one less thing to worry about.
Nana is okay, just a bit cranky. Too hot to be as cranky as usual, takes too much energy.

Brian is not such an arse today. He is only half arsed.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anonymous10:09:00 PM

I got so mad with Dad today I started to make him go to his room.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm just finishing my chapter to the story Jakey and I are writing. He writes one chapter ,then I do one.

Mine are all nice and his are all violent.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anonymous10:11:00 PM

Well as long as you get your jiggly dance...why is men such a arse...bull-headed and know-it-alls.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I draw little cartoons to go with mine and take my time and he jots his down in five minutes. But it is a project we can do together and it is fun for him.He loves it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anonymous10:13:00 PM

Sweetie since we have cleaned FTBB up or you going to post it ?? it would be nice for him to see his work..

    ReplyDelete
  26. Bull headed know-it-alls is a perfect description. 99% of the time he is great. But that one percent sure is aggravating.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I , of course am perfect 100% of the time.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't think Jakey's mom would let me.
Why are you mad at Dad.?

Now that you mention it we should do something a little sexy to spice up the old blog. We are not as naughty as we used to be.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anonymous10:18:00 PM

Thats exactly what Jakey needs , something he do extra well, It would be nice if you could print it out or make a copy ..frame it and put a ribbon in Canada colors on it , that would make him so proud...he's a smart little guy.

    ReplyDelete
  30. That is a good idea. We'll print a special copy and I'll put some kind of cover on it. With a red ribbon, of course.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes it would be good for him to see his work on the internet. I'm afraid this is not his best work.He might be a bit self- conscious about it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. His development has been arrested and his writing should be more advanced.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Anonymous10:23:00 PM

    What do you suggest ??
It's hot and dad wants to ride that damn scooter all over the place, when I told him it wasn't good for him...that fartass told me he was grown and to boss my 2 men and he took off for Sis.
Then he calls me on the phone and tell to tell you he left a note to you on SH's under the black guy. I told him to stay there and he said no way they don't cook, they are starving James .

    ReplyDelete
  34. There is a bit more entertainment news tonight so I will work on SH.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anonymous10:27:00 PM

All that will come with his cure, but for now he has so much to give. We don't want to upset Jaye since the framed picture will do nicely with the ribbon.

    ReplyDelete
  36. He should definitely be walking. It's good for his heart, but he will do as he wants anyway.

I guess he lives with you most of the time now since he loves your cooking so much.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Anonymous10:29:00 PM

If I find anything I will put it in drafts.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous10:30:00 PM

I let Dad read 'C' and he laughed his ass off and say now that's a good read.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I still haven't sorted out all the Rhonda details but he tells me a bit at a time. There is a real story there. There are a lot of things that Gil won't explain in his book. The adventures of a horny old man.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Anonymous10:34:00 PM

Yes when we moved in he came with us, he says he'll go back to Sis as soon as she have the baby, she's just to grouchy now.
Walking is good for his heart..sweetie it was around 1;pm and it was about 98 degrees and he could wait until it's cool.

    ReplyDelete
  41. No one shold be outside in that heat. That's pretty deadly.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Like you said, men are bull-headed.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anonymous10:39:00 PM

Yes he tells about his mama/Rhonda and a lady named Nancy. Rhonda had kids by a previous marriage, how Dad terated his mama like a queen and he knew about both women.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Anonymous10:41:00 PM

dad says Gil was devoted to his mama ...but he was always his Dad's son, and now he's his Dad's boss.

    ReplyDelete
  45. There is an even better article written by some self-proclamed wine expert further down in the drafts under his full name. It was kind of funny. It said he had a sensual fleshiness to his face and small, amused eyes. They interview Rhonda too.
I think you've read it but he would be amused.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Anonymous10:45:00 PM

Be sure you read his note on the Randy Jackson Post, he asked me did I read them and I told him no, they wasn't to me...Dad says thats good I can tell about your mean rump...Dad is a hoot.

    ReplyDelete
  47. See, horny old man.
I am interested in this bigamy thing. He legalized it when his wife died.

    ReplyDelete
  48. By all means read the notes. They are fun. He did say that you and Nanette have mean tempers.

    ReplyDelete
  49. He really liked one of my Italian jokes.
Read my notes too. They are pretty good.you can give me some clues on what to ask him.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Anonymous10:53:00 PM

Yes I think I have...it's under D** C***** right. Dad says they have a lot of stuff right and a lot of stuff in the wrong time frame...it was put out there intentional...they knew about all his financial status...the caniso business you have to leave false trails when he was coming along, there was a lot on under handed stuff .

    ReplyDelete
  51. Anonymous10:58:00 PM

Okay I will and tell you what to ask him...I told you Nan was mean and I was the sweet one [giggles]

    ReplyDelete
  55. I don't know how this heat affects you but I have a lot of projects on the go and I can't find the energy to work.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Maxy is in good health again but he has no energy either. He comes into the bedroom and wakes me in the morning so I'll play with him or get him a cookie. We laid on the bed just looking at each other
this morning and went back to sleep.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Anonymous11:08:00 PM

I read in Gil's Journal that Rhonda was a grandmother and they was teenagers one is in her 3rd year of college and she's married to a famous football player, he's retired now .
It. not Glenn, he's Gina's daddy and he married a woman name Canon or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hi Nan, been good thankyou. G said Nee had a mean temper and so did you but it took more to get you going....HA!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I ,of course don't believe him. I think you are both the sweetest gals I know.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Anonymous11:11:00 PM

I am so glad Maxy is better, maybe it was the heat that made him sick, glad he's all better.Maxy is spoiled.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Anonymous11:12:00 PM

Nee headache is a little better now damn I will be glad when the first get here.
    Nan

    ReplyDelete
  64. I guess Nan is right. You wouldn't have any knickers on your musty butt in this heat. I sure don't.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Anonymous11:19:00 PM

Maxy loves you and very devoted, Brian won't let you rub his tummy because you fingers will slip down to you know what and then he will have to jump in the valley.Hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  66. I would prefer to do my housework in the nude but these days I never know who may pop in. And Nana wouldn't appreciate it.

    ReplyDelete
  67. The boys are coming for another sleep-over next week so I have to think up a nice activity for them.

    ReplyDelete
  68. How come Nan has a headache? Does the heat bother her. Or do you bother her...HA!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Anonymous11:25:00 PM

    ReplyDelete
  75. The twins like playing war games.Sometimes they strap a sword on me and put a helmet on me and make me the enemy. I'm not up to it in this heat.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Boy this cup of tea is good.
Nan needs some of my hebal tea. It's good for headaches.

    ReplyDelete
  81. She will have more time to enjoy her babies. Her husband still works doesn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  82. That visitor can be even worse in the heat. You can't get comfortable.

I bet with everyone in Louisiana cranking up the air conditioning right now, you could have a major blackout.

    ReplyDelete
  83. We have only had one brown-out and that was last night, It lasted for about 10 seconds but I had to boot up the computer again. I was in the middle of saying goodnight ot you.

  89. Maybe she could start a business.Something to do with women. A little boutique. Just sell accessories like purses, costume jewelry, scarves, hats, perfume. Those stores do well here.
Bed and bath boutiques are good too. Some of them have a little corner where ladies can sit and have a coffee.I've seen them in Toronto. In a big city like yours almost anything would do well.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I watch a Seinfeld sometimes. they are still good. And I enjoyed the time period when they were made. Everything in life was going well at that time and we often went to our local coffee shop just like they did.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I'm glad you didn't think I deserted you last night. You waited to hear something from me.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Anonymous12:02:00 AM

I told her I wouldn't mind having a small boutique in one of the caniso's you have a built in trade, allt he canisos rents out space , they only do the hotels and caniso..the rest they rent.
    Sweetie I have got lazy.

    ReplyDelete
  93. We don't often have blackouts.
The worst one was in Qubec about ten years ago. They had an ice storm which lasted for weeks. The ice brought all the wires and cables down and froze the transformers so they had no power,no heat.

    ReplyDelete
  94. To have one in a hotel is a great idea.Women on holiday love to shop.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Anonymous12:05:00 AM

I just thought it was blogger, it acts up sometime are maybe Brian/Nana needed you, Iknow you wouldn't just up and leave without saying.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Someone I know had a gift shop in a mall. She said it was harder to find unique gifts and art than it was to find good fashion. She used to be a buyer for a ladies'clothing store.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Anonymous12:10:00 AM

There's always people coming in/out 24/7 and we would not be in the casino so our babies could go. I told her they would have to have good help and have a background and drug test

    ReplyDelete
  98. I went to her shop all the time for gifts. They were so nice. She went out of business in the recession.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Anonymous12:13:00 AM

I think your friend is right..It's hard to find good clothes in the better shops, they cost a pretty penny and look like homemade shit.

    ReplyDelete
  100. That's true you could stay open as long as you wish. People coming in from the casino are still usually pumped. Good time to shop.

I would be sad if I lost you here though. But if you need that outlet then you go for it honey. You're young and full of enegry.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I said you were full of 'enegry'. I don't know what that is but you're full of it honey. I think I'm getting senile before my time. I make so many typing mistakes now. I know you don't mind.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Anonymous12:22:00 AM

Sweetie ...you are not going to get rid of me that easy...HA !
Gil would shit a baby if I went to work..He says for now he can take care of his family and if he needs help he will ask me.
He says my babies come first, that's why he works so hard.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Wouldn't that be a little far to drive to work??

    ReplyDelete
  105. Sometimes you just need a project of your own to stimulate all those creative juices.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Anonymous12:25:00 AM

I don't mind them at all...shit I've making them since we started the blog.
But I did work the puzzle..[giggles]

    ReplyDelete
  107. Gil is a kind of 'old school' kind of guy. But I know Gilly would suffer without you right now. He is not quite ready to let you go.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Anonymous12:28:00 AM

You would have to go To Dallas to set up your account...and order over the phone...that's to much trouble...I reminded NAN of Mamie .

    ReplyDelete
  109. I did a stupid thing today. I put my oven on automatic clean. It has to heat up to 500 degrees for a couple of hours. That threw so much heat into the house it is still here in spite of air conditioning.I just couldn't stand it any longer.

I missed him so much when I was in Vegas and Dad said he would call for me and Jill told him to sing to him.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Well Sweetcheeks, I don't want ot leave you but you have those little people who will bug you if you don't get up in the morning.

Pleasure as always. I'm always surprised that two women thousands of miles apart from different countries have so much to talk about.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Anonymous12:35:00 AM

I started to clean mine today, but didn't , I cooked greens fried some chops and made hot water bread they had candid yams .

    ReplyDelete
  113. Anonymous12:37:00 AM

And we only talk about ourselves and our families...now that's nice.
Yes pretty soon I will have to log off a little sooner.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Yes, I know that one night Gilly was crying and calling for you and Dad went to him to see if he could comfort him. He did try singing to him. I don't know how successful that was but that little man wanted his mama and no one else.
