Tiger Woods has reached a record divorce settlement with Elin Nordegren, according to a report by the London Sun.
Woods will pay his former wife between $750 million and $833 million, the report says, which would be the biggest payout ever seen in a high profile divorce. In return, Nordegren,30, can never publicly speak about affairs he had while they were married.
According to the deal, which is expected to be finalized soon, Nordegren gets complete custodyof their children (a 3 year-old-daughter and 1-year-old son) , but Woods gets to share in making decisions in their lives.
Woods also has to keep his children away from his girlfriends or any other unmarried women that Nordegren does not know...stay tune, the saga countinues...updates as they become available.

Tiger Woods Divorce : Get It Done - Keep It Quiet "OUCH"

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are trying to strike agreements on child custody and division of assets ... and then quietly and quickly file divorce papers to end their marriage.

Sources that are very familier with the situation tell 'TMZ' ... the most important thing for both , Tiger and Elin is keeping the terms of the divorce confidential. We're told Tiger has a team...partly based in 'NYC' - that is working on the division of assets. But it's well known ... the key player is West Palm Beach lawyer 'Thomas Sasser,' an expert in child custody agreements that involve more than one jurisdiction.

Sources say one of the options is to actually file for divorce in Sweden - Elin wants to move there with their two kids, and Tiger would have to submit to jurisdiction of the court. Wherever the divorce is filed , the plan is to keep the custody and property settlement agreements out of the court file. We're told the quicker and quieter the divorce the better.

The big issue - Tiger wants either custody or visitation, and assurances that he can go into court and enforce the agreement if Elin volates it. It's said , Tiger wants the option to go to either the Swedish or America court to enforce the custody agreements . Shocking: Is Kultida Woods Upset, Angry ?

As Tiger Woods' 13 minute public emasculation was in progress Friday, the camera occasionally caught glimpses of his mother, Kultida , sitting in the first row looking equal parts demoralized and outrage. Even when Tiger finished and approached her, she didn't look at him at first.You didn't have to be Cal Lightman to piece together that Tiger's mon wasn't thrilled to be spending her Friday morning listening to her son recount to the world every mistake he's made in his life. Following Tiger's remarks, Kultida told the media that she's "so proud to be his mother " and " people don't understand that Tiger has a very good heart and soul.
But here's the thing: If the National Enquirer hadn't decided to run the original report of Woods infidelities when they did, Elin wouldn't have confronted her husband on thanksgiving night, and he wouldn't have crashed his escalade into a tree leading to all this crap.
We held an editorial conference about about the story,[ Enquirer executive editor Barry Levine] told ESPN. Our senior editors and our lawyers said. You know what? This story is going nowhere. Let's give it another week. Let's continue to report it for another week. The irony is that had we published the story the week before, the infamous car accident might neve have happen because Tiger would have been in Dubai and his wife might have challenged him on the story but it might have been done by phone.
So there might not have been this explosive argument that occurred late on the night of Thanksgiving. That's fascinating in the sense that if the car accident never happened the mainstream media might not have jumped on the story the way they did and the real details of the scandal and all these women may not have surfaced. And Tiger would be playing golf now instead of holding contrived press conferences to talk about his personal life. In the short term, that would be better for the PGA tour, the other players, the fans, and, well, everybody but Woods and his family.

Tiger Speaks; Time To Move On

Even though members of the media weren't invited , they decided to listen in to the "STATE of Tiger address." Their first impression : This sports legend and corporate juggernaut reads very well. All the right words of contrition were there, that he alone bears all the blame. But only those close to him will know if to many rehearsals made the sincerity a bit wooden or if it was there to begin with.
Woods statement included apologies to the right people: wife, children, mom, other parents who had pointed out Tiger as a role midel to their children, his charitable foundation that depends on his sucess to help out disadvantaged kids. There was even a bow to Buddhism, that he forgot the teaching not to follow every impulse or to indulge cravings"outside ourselves."
Because the public statement was mostly about the rehabilition of "Tiger Inc.," Woods apologized to his business partners for jeopardizing their livelihoods, and to pro golf, which rises and falls on the proximity of Woods to PGA touraments. Otherwise, this marital train wreck that was created by infidelity of mind-boggling proportions should have been between Tiger and his family and not ncluded a television audience. For his wife and children, sympathy is warranted. For Woods , we hope he succeeds in his avowed pursuit of a change life. Of course actions, not prepared remarks , will be the only proof for those around him. For ourselves we're OK without knowing.
Instead, whenever Woods next steps onto a tournament tee box, we will again appreciate the skill and, ironically, the discipline he brings to his sport. He hasn't before, nor will he ever "sell" us a Buick or Gillette razor because of his celebrity; but people will be interested in what brand of irons this golfing icon uses,

We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV - but Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she strck the vehicle several times with the club. One pro-golf source in Florida says, "Elin was an au pair and married to the biggest earner in the sport. If she believes Tiger was cheating , it will cost him one way or another - a fortune to keep her happy, or a fortune to divorce her. Either way, Elin is in a win-win situation.The ugly confrontation took place just 2 days after The National Enguirer reported Tiger has been fooling around with the New York party girl, Rachel Uchitel, a 34-year-old brunette with a per for dating married celebs. Friends of Rachel says she's been telling people she's having a jet-set liaison with Tiger that begun in June in New York and has played out in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Australia.
After the car crash, Woods was reportedly unconscious for six minutes and found lying in the street with his wife hovering over him . Tiger Wood : Was It Worth It ? 7 And Counting

If life was a golf metaphor, Tiger Woods is deep in the rough, as more women are coming forward claiming they've had affairs with the golf legend. Several women have come forward to national media outlets, saying they've been sexually involved with the married Woods, "RADAR ONLINE" is reporting.According to "RADAR," explosive voice mail from one of the women is being shopped around and one accuser was recently on VHI's trashy reality show, "Tool Academy."
The Tiger story has gone nuclear, says David Perel, excutive vice president of "Radar Online. com." The early morning accident has triggered a flood of informatio regarding Tiger and other women, and by the end of this week, there are going to be at least one other woman - possibly even more - on the record alleging a sexual affair with the golfing great.
"US" magazine is exclusively breaking the story with one of the women - 24-year old Jaimee Grubbs, who recently appeared on VHI's dating show, "Tool Academy.Grubbs claims that she and Tiger participated in a 31-month long fling together. "US" magazine which will hit the newsstands on Wednesday (December 9th) is reporting that Woods and Grubbs engaged in 20 sexual encounters.
Grubbs allegedly has more than 300 text messages from Wood, as well as a voice mail in which Tiger discuss how his wife may have found out about their affair, "US" reports.
Wood's personal life has exploded thanks to a mysterious thanksgiving weekend car crash, in which Tiger plowed into a fire hydrant and a tree, injuring himself. Since the accident, he repeatedly dodged talking to the police about the incident but perhaps even more damaging, he was romantically involved with a woman name Rachel Uchitel, neither Tiger nor his wife, Elin Nordegren have spoken publicly since the accident.
Late breaking news: Elin Nordegren has had it with the affair revelations and has moved out on her husband Tiger Woods, sources in the neighborhood tell "RADAR ONLINE." Tiger Woods said he let his family down with transgressions he regrets" with all his heart," and that he will deal with his personal life behind closed doors. His statement follows a cover story in US WEEKLY magazine that reports a Los Angeles cocktail waitress claims she had a 31-month affair with the worlds #1 golfer.
"I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves," Woods says on his website. I am not without faulfs and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failing behind closed doors with my family. Those feeling should be shared by us alone.
The cocktail waitress, Jaimee Grubbs, told the magazine she met Woods at a Las Vegas nightclub the week after the 2007 Masters--two months before Woods wife, Elin, gave birth to their first child.Grubbs claims to have proff in 300 text messages. About three hours before Woods statement, the magazine published what it said was a voicemail--provided by Grubbs --that Wods left on her phone on November 24, three days before his middle-of-the-night car crash outside his home in Florida.Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship. "I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves," Woods said. "For all those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology."
Woods has been subjected to more media scrutiny over the last week than when he first won the "Masters" in 1997 and sey off the first wave of Tigermania.He has spoken three times through his Web site, although this was his longest posting. If you can , please take your name off that and,um, and what do you call it just a number on the voice mail, just have it as your telephone number. That's it,OK. You gotta do this for mr.Huge. Quickly. All right. Bye......The AP could not confirm Woods was the caller, but it sure sound like Woods.
My spin on this:I am not a fan of golf or Tiger, but believe him to be approcahing the status of the greatest golfer that ever lived. Unfortunately , now because of this , he will never achieve his goal as the greatest golfer. Golf is a game of character and graciousness as any sport.
