New clues have come to light and perhaps the mystery will be solved and put to rest at last; a mystery that has baffled and been debated for decades and will not go away.
James Riddle "Jimmy" Hoffa (born February 14, 1913 – disappeared July 30, 1975, declared legally dead July 30, 1982) was an American labor union leader.
Hoffa, whose mysterious death has eclipsed his
tumultuous life, was last seen on July 30, 1975, outside a restaurant in
Bloomfield Township, another Detroit suburb, about 30 miles from the Roseville
site. The FBI, which
investigated the disappearance, has said it believes that Hoffa met with two
organized crime figures, one of whom was a former Teamsters associate.
