  4. Brian was very tired after his treatment and I was tired after s hectic day so we both fell sound asleep after dinner like two old fogys. We woke up at ten.

  8. Are you tired after the hectic pace of the last couple of weeks??

    ReplyDelete
  9. That is so sweet; he was so moved by that quilt. He told me about it.
You couldn't have given him anything he valued more.

Tell Brian it's almost over and he will be able to give you your jiggle dance in a few weeks .
I know Brian is tired , but the most is just lying still for a long period of time .

  11. The actual radiation treatment only takes fifteen minutes. They don't know why radiation fatigues the patients but it does. A little more each time. But he is doing good overall. A walk in the park compared to the kidney cancer. He is having a great holiday season. I've never seen him so jolly. He is just happy to still be here.

One lady asked me if they acted different than other people and I asked her why should they act different they are just people.

Dad laughed his ass off when he told me you said he was a bum with no job/money or a home of his own , he called Sis and told her and Sis said you know a bum when you talk to one .[giggles]

  13. Is your health holding up okay. I don't think the men notice how hard we work to make the holidays so perfect for them and the kids.

  17. I'm so glad you watch that blood pressure. It can creep up on you. Maybe some of it was due to the stress of the season.
You're right ,one more hectic weekend and we can take a bit of time off. Brian cancelled our plans for Sunday to go see the Christmas lights in Simco and dinner. He just wants to put his feet up and rest.

The first time I saw you do a lot of pictures, I couldn't get it right so I asked Gil to show me and he did and it was so easy .

I have learned a lot from you.
I wanted to do videos but Gil said everyone can't do videos and I told him he did and he said I didn't have the patience and just tell you which video I wanted and you would get it for me .
He made a good point .

  25. I bet Dad's ball will be a great success. It will be exciting. I would love to see it. Ladies love a real reason to dress up in their finery. We used to go to club dances and parties at New Year's. It seems like eons ago now. For many years we used to celebrate with Justin jeremy and Jason. They would come and stay with us for a few days and we had fun at New Years eve, At midnight we would go outside and make a lot of noise and make snow angels. Sometimes we would make a polar bear dash; that is run out in the snow barefoot.

I used to love dressing up and going to the parties , now I just want to stay at home , Dad says it's a sign of growing up and being happy with myself .
When I was in LA my ex and I had to go to a lot of parties and most of the people there was so fake.

He loves the way we cook . He says he always liked gumbo , but he never had it the way we cook it with a lot of spices ...I told him I put everything in my gumbo except the kitchen sink.
