College Student Googles Himself : 'Sometime It's A Good Idea'

Zachary Garcia and Zachery Garcia  may have homonymous names , but , as you'd imagine  they're actually very different people . The  Zachary on the  left  is  a University of Florida student who works at a sandwich shop .  The Zachery on the right is a teenager accused of murder . Investigators in Polk Cunty Florida , however , failed to pick up on the subtle difference  in spelling between the two names ... a mistake  that came to light after  a casual  Google  search.

Turns out authorites  in the region mistakenly  circulated a drivers' license  photo of Zachary  ( with the 'a') whom they clearly confused with the real suspect , Zachery (with the 'e') . The college student became aware of the mistake  only after Googling his name , and discovering that (surprise) he was wanted for murder . "I was just very shocked to find my picture  and the article saying that I was  convicted of  a felony murder charge , he told Tampa Bay station WTSP . "And I was just very shocked  and angry that someone put my name  and picture up there  and said I did something I didn't do.

The actual suspect , along with four other teenagers , allegedly  broke into a house  on September 23rd . One of the  homeowers shot and killed one of the teens , but , because  the death took place in the middle of a felony , all three kids  (including Zachery)  were charged  murder ... Zachary , the sandwich-maker claims his everyday problems aren't nearly as dramatic . "Everyone  makes mistakes ," Garcia added .

Garcia said , "I work at Publix and I might get some sub (order) wrong , but for someone to get (the photo of a suspect) wrong ... it's not a sandwich , It's  a persons' life you are dealing with . "

My take : Very true , but  on the bright side , at least Garcia's not wanted for murder , and that's certainly  something we take for granted each day.... know what , I think I will  google myself  , I may find I'm wanted for poking a man.[giggles]

Alleged Swindler : Scammed Out of $800,000 by New York Limo Driver

     A New York City limo driver allegedly stole the credit card information belonging to a Hong Kong-based  billiomaire and racked up nearly $800,000 in fraudulent charges , according to court documents filed in Brooklyn.

     Astonishing , the victim is so wealthy, he wasn't even aware he had been defrauded of hundreds of thousands of dallors until it was brought to his attention by the company that issued the charge card.

     It all started when  celebrity  feng shui adviser ,  Chan Chun Chuen ,  also known as   "Tony Chan "  ( seen above), traveled by private jet   in July arriving at New  Jersey's Teterboro Airport before transported to Manhattan by Queens, N.Y. - based driver , Peter S. Rahhaoui . According to an indictment filed in U.S. District Court , Eastern District of New York , Rahhaoui later used Chan's  American Express card to "receive payment  and other things of value." The fraudulent activity allegedly accurred  between August 2008 and  November 2009.

     U.S. Secret Service Agent Kwame Davis testified that he had been contacted by a fraud investigator working on behalf of  American Express who was investigating a pattern of fraudulent  activity for a card  issed to Chan Chun Chuen . According to Kwame's testimony , a large  number of charges were posted on a monthly basic by A&S Limousine Service , for amounts ranging between  $4,300 amd $19,242 . According to court documents , the total amount of these charges was $794,986.  

     But in a strange twist of events , the victim's own alleged misdoings are now being used as a defense by Rahhaoui .

     According to the New York Post , Chan Chun Chuen was arrested in Hong Kong stemming from allegations that he presented a forged will that made him  will that made him the sole heir to billionaire   Nina Wang's fortune . Wang was  the richest woman in Asia with an estimated net worth of $4 billion at the time of her death at age 67 three years ago (according to Forbes). But the allegedly forged will is not the olny legal trouble in Hong Kong  that Chan Chun Chuen is facing. Wang, who was a love interest of chan Chun Chuen's allegedly paid him hundreds of millions of dallors for his feng shui skills . According to the NY Post , Hong Kong tax collectors have slapped Chan with a $41 million charge.
     Rahhaoui has pleaded not guilty , Rahhaoui  is claiming the American Express charges was authorized by Chan Chun Chuen.
My take : Finally, the swindler got scammed ...what a hoot.

Israeli Cult :" Leader Faces Sex Charges "

Some men dream of having a harem,according to police,Goel Ratzon fulfilled his dream.
Ratzon, 60, was indited Sunday on multiple charges including rape, sodomy, enslavement and sexual abuse within the family. Ratzon, who lived with 21"wives" and had 49 children was the leader of a cult for many years.
According to the prosecutor, the indictment describes a life "that will rattle the mind, the imagination and question human morality," the prosecutor said. The women lived in several squalid apartments in Tel Aviv and most of them had pictures of Ratzon's face and his name tattooed on their bodies
Goel Ratzon sits in a in a Tel Aviv courtroom , he's charged with enslavement , rape, incest and other sex offenses. The case has ascinated Israelis who have grown tired of newspaper headlines trumpeting Iran's quest for a nuclear bomb, Hezbollah's threats to attack Israel and the frozen Mideast peace process.According to the charges laid out in the indictment and published in the Israeli press, Ratzon kept his "wives" and children on a tight leash. There was a long list of rules and stiff penalties for breaking them.here are a few examples.(Note: 3.7 Israeli shekels = $1 US)
*No woman shall marry nor shall any woman attack another, either verbally or physically. Fine: 2,000 shekels, to be paid into the family kitty. No woman shall question another about her whereabouts. Fine: 100 shekels.No conversation is permitted in rooms other than the living room. It is forbidden to talk nonsense.Fine: 200 shekels.
*It's hard to understand how Ratzon's harem was able to last so long in Israel, a small country where everyone seems to know almost everyone else. Police said they knew about Ratzon but was unable to indict him until several women came forward.
* In a documentary shown on Israel TV last year , several of the women said they believed Ratzon was tge Messiah. His first name Goel means "redeemer." They say they felt privileged to live with him.
* "I'm perfect... I have everything a woman wants," Ratzon declared in the documentary.
*Neighbors told the Jerusalem Post they never heard any nioise or fightimg coming from the apartments. The women had jobs cleaning houses but were not allowed towork for men. They dressed conservatively, with the long skirts favored by the ultra-Orthodox.
* Ratzon, who has long white hair and piercing brown eyes, continues to insist he is innocent of all wrong doings and that the women consented to lived with him. He also said he is being threatened but would not say by whom.
* Police say he Preyed on young vulnerable women, often ones from broken families. In the documentary, Ratzon is shown asking one women if she wants to sleep with him that evening.
*"Yes," she says and hugs him.
* Media reports say Ratzon has hired a female lawyer.

My spin on Goel Ratzon and his brain-washing bull-shit: A twist on a lazy man getting women to care for him and gettin all the free sex he wants, or should I say, the women pay him to have sex with them in the name of religion. Isn't it odd in this day and time, a cult can always be started in the name of religion and people will follow....Remember Jim Jones , Phillip and Nancy Garrido just to name three(3) but the list goes on, it's sad that people will reach at anything to believe in....but hey, that's just me.

Deadly Disease "WTF"

Kristen Parker worked in a hosiptal surgical unit dedicated to saving lives - but she soon became the patients worst nightmare. The heartless 27-year-old medical technician exposed thousands to a devastating disease - which could spell agony and even death for thse who put their lives in her hands. Parker, a secret drug addict, was stealing syringes containing the painkiller fentanyi --100 times more powerful than herion - replacing them with saline-filled syringes she had used to shoot up. All the time, she knew she had highly contagious hepatitis C - which could cause cirrhosis, liver cancer and even death.In a controversial plea bargain, Parker, who sentenced patients to a life of torment , received only 20 years behind bars. Thousands exposed to her evil in Colorado, New York and Texas hosiptals have been forced to find out if they have the disease. Already 75 have tested positive for hepatitis C because of Parker's dirty syringes.
Furious patients are asking how this addict could so easily get her hands on the drug dozen of times over the last six months she worked at Rose Medical Center in Denver. Incredibly, the hosiptal disclosed that Parker tested positive for hepatitis C in a pre-employment blood test. But employment law prevented the hosiptal from discriminating against her. Crosby Powell , 71, says he was shocked when he got the news that he had hepatitis C - thanks to Parker . "I don't do drugs, drink or smoke. I was shocked. I broke down.
When cops busted the out-of-control medical technician, she was finally forced to confront the enormity of her crime - and the life sentence of suffering she'd handed out to countless patients.
"I didn't know this was going to happen," sobbed Parker in a tearful confession. "People will be sick for the rest of their lives because of me."
Parker told authorities she likely got the disease sharing dirty needles when she used heroin. Investigators zeroed in on her after the Denver hosiptal reported a rash of hepatitis C infections - and they discovered Parker worked in the operating room and had the disease. Parker was fired after being caught in an operating room she wasn't assigned to - triggering a drug test which turned up fentanyl in her blood.
Parker adimitted to cops she knew full well that patients wouldn't get the pain relief they needed when doctors injected them with her saline syringes instead of fentanyl. But Parker insists," I'm not a bad person....I know I need help. I just do stupid stuff."
One of her victims Denver resident Lauren Lollini, fires back: "There's been a lot of damage that's been done and being sorry, I don't knw if that's enough."
Lollini is calling for new safeguards, including the licensing of surgical technicians. Considering the enormity of Parker's crime , Lollini adds: Twenty years just don't seem like a very long time....Stay tuned: More true crime : The saga continues.
My spin : I just don't get it....Parker shouldn't been working in the medical field or any place she had close contact with the general public, least of all in the surgical unit with patients are being treated. People are screened more closely when they apply for a job at casinos...background checks...drug tests, so why not hosiptals . I think the system is all screwed up: But hey, that's just me.
