Sir Paul McCartney : Daughter Mary Ties The Knot In Secret

Sir Paul McCartney's eldest daughter Mary has secertly married at the same place the ex-Beatle wed Linda Eastman in 1969.

The ceremony took place at Marylebone Register Office on Saturday, June 12, with the bride and groom deciding to keep their marriage a secert until news of it emerged on Twitter three days later - even the illustrious father of the bride was in the dark, it seems.

Mary McCartney's new husband, writer and director Simon Aboud, wrote on twitter , "We got married on Saturday, Marylebone Registry, just us and the kids, the rings driven up the aisle to us by one of the boys on a remote control dune buggy, Lovely day."

Sir Paul was busy playing a gig in Dublin as the pair tied the knot.

A source told the Daily Mail, " Sir Paul and Mary are close and always have been," but that the photographer bride wished to keep the wedding from her family to prevent the event from becoming a 'Macca thing'."

Mary recreated the famous scenes from 41 years ago when her father wed American photographer Eastman, who was four months pregnant with Mary at the time.

My spin : Thank goodness there are still women with morals and values in this world ....Mary may you and Simon Aboud have many happy years together...
PIC and I hope you all the good things that life can bring....Mary don't forget , marriage is just like a job, you have to work on it each and every day for it to succeed....many years of hapiness to you and your lovely family.
Kicking back and keeping it real and having fun.

  1. Well PIC that was a tiring weekend.Saturday was great. Sunny weather and everyone was in a great mood. Nice party and good food.

Sunday was fabulous, sunny and hot but dry so we were not uncomfortable. The fish fry was delicious, caught fresh that day and we always enjoy our friends Dale and Barb.We strolled on the little beach. It's small because it's in a bay. It was pretty crowded; then we strolled through the little holiday town and sat by the harbor and watched the boats coming and going. There were some sleek yachts going by that had Brian drooling.
Then we went straight to Jaye's party. It was fun;her childhood friend and maid of honor, Mary-ann was there. We adopted Mary-ann as a kid and have always considered her family. It was great to see her and catch up. She is one of the good ones. And I got to chat with Phil who was full of stories of his adventures, bumming around the world. He has always had a soft spot for me. We got home late.

I wish I could have seen Dad and Gilly playing baseball.I bet it was funny.
I hope GL liked his Father's day gift?? I hope it was the right size...heheh.Did he try it on first. I hope you saved the receipt so you could take it back and get the right size.
And what did you do for Dad?
It sounds like you had a feast down there. You probably couldn't move after dinner.Isn't it funny that every occaision we have is accompanied by a truckload of food.
They would sure complain if it wasn't. See you at twilight tomorrow..Luv & hugs...PIC

The girls got dad some Overalls and I cut the legs off to make shorts and I got him some Extra large t-shirts and Gil broke down and bought him a new suit he told Dad the one he likes to wear is shiny on the butt and he wonders why. (new black suit).

Gilly thinks he as large as the others and is right in the mix of things, my little man is growing up to fast.

So glad everything was great and Brian and you had a wonderful time.
I know you had a blast with everyone and Dale made you laugh as always.
I bet Phil had some wonderful stories to tell and Jakey was glad to see him...HUGS...PIC
