OH, PLEASE. ....Yesterday, we had the questionable pleasure of watching "THE BACHELOR" on ABC.(http://abc.go.com/primetime/bachelor/index?pn=index) As always, we were multitasking - watching TV, blogging and eating.....
Twenty-five beautiful women from all over the county are out to win the heart of a single-dad from Seattle, named Jason.
Now we all know that those kind if shows are completely stupid. However, somehow they always manage to draw a hughe number if viewers.
Why?
Maybe because people are having a jolly good time watching people making complete fools of themselves on TV.
So, the bachelor with child meets the ladies for the very first time. Every woman gets a hand-shake and a slimey "Oh, you look absolutely stunning tonight".
We do wonder - under normal circumstances without cameras would a man in his right mind say something cheesy like that on the very first date? And if, how would the woman in question react?
*Would she be rolling her eyes and excuse herself for a short bathroom-break? OR
*Would she be grinning stupidely answering "And you look handsome too"?
YUCK...YUCK...YUCK...
You have 60 minutes of women gushing over an average looking guy who got turned down by the woman of his choice in the last season of "The Bachelor". Whoever will come out first in this show we predict it won't last. There has been NO COUPLING from this show so far that ended up in a steady good relationship.You just can't find "true love" in front of cameras and millions of viewers...
So, while the bachelor goes on a public screwing-marathon with the ten women he chose to award with a rose, we will be on the lookout for more reality shows we can make fun of. Such as "True Beauty" (http://abc.go.com/primetime/truebeauty/index?pn=index)
