Las Vegas is the first and best "CSI" Grissom ( William Petersen) developed his character to fit his role on the show...from my point of view that takes talent/character in an actor.CSI: Las Vegas 3 of their main characters and still going strong, one character is back revising her role as Sara Sidler.( Jodie Foxx)
Csi:Miami scenery is beautiful, please note that's the best thing going for the show, The music is really awful, you can't understand it most of the time, you can't understand the lyrics to the songs most times.(And that's being nice).
The new guy on the block(CSI:M) was mis-cast, he gives a great performance when he's cast as a bad guy. He was believable in "Criminal Mind's" as the killer dad.
An actor/actress is only as good as the scripts he/she is given.
CSI:Miami needs new producers/directors that will give the writers a little space to bounce stuff off the wall and each other. Any project a group of people is working on together....they need space to let their minds roam. CSI:NY/LV seem to like each other, they even smile and make eye contact when doing a scence together. CSI:Miami instead of working together they are to stiff (robot maybe)trying to upstage each other....say their lines without any emotion and can't wait to get away from each other.
How about the producers having a trilogy crossover...I bet CSI:Miami producers would learn a thing or two. yes Grissom is my favorite, he gone , but the show is still going strong.
In a nutshell:William Petersen/Gary Sinse is producers/directors on their repective shows, has a say in the development of their shows. To the head hunchos at CSI:Miami, get back to basic, Your fan base is over 40 and counting, The only people that's keeping your show on is the people that remember Dave with his drawers off,(NYPD BLUE) but you have aimed it for the tweeters, one reason you lost the #1 most watched show in the world to House(Hugh Lauri)But hey, that's just me.

If you want to put something up instead of the gator yarddog go ahead, he's been there a long time,I still have him in my folder .
Weather is dry and sun is out, but the rivers/lakes haven't crested yet, maybe about mid-week.
I was just having some fun.I know they can be annoying but I wanted to try them out.I was looking for a dog that looked like Maxy or a kitten and a duckling,no such luck. I enjoyed you review of the CSI shows. It was very astute.I think you nailed them pretty good.

I tried to replace Maxy in the sidebar with a pet but it wouldn't stay in the sidebar.

If you touch the bellies of the dog and cat with your cursor they jump and if you click on the green bamboo the bear will eat it.It's harder to click on the fish.

ReplyDeleteThe boys weren't allowed to take their fake daggers to school.I made sure they were rubber and I made sheaths for them but the school was adamant about anything that represented a weapon.I'm actually glad that Canada is staying with her philosophy of pacifism.Unfortunately when bad guys with guns get into the country we won't be able to protect ourselves.We have a well trained army to defend us but they can't be everywhere.

ReplyDeleteIn the Enquirer,there is an article about Gerrido.He wrote a song about killing a woman and her baby(his son)and burying them on a mountain.He told his friend it was true,he really killed them.He wanted daughters not sons.

This news came from Jaycee's step dad.
Her stepdad must have felt very guilty all these years that he couldn't save her.It broke up his marriage.

He was carrying around a heavy weight on his shoulders, now maybe they can heal. He watched them grab her and he couldn't catch them, it was Nancy that grabbed Jaycee. I hope he has some contacted with Jaycee and her kids. I am so happy for them.

ReplyDeleteYes he has contact with them.He thinks Jaycee is a wonderful woman and a wonderful mother.She only had schooling up to grade five but she taught her kids how to read and write and anything else she could remember.
ReplyDeletei think Garrido may have had ideas about breeding his own sex slaves but somehow Jaycee turned him around and he got religion.He has a weird take on religion but at least it stopped him from hurting those girls .However I get a strong impression from all I have read that all three women were frightened of him.Perhaps even his wife.

I've nver felt their life was glamorous.I have read too many biographies and memoirs of actors.All of them emphasize what a dirty struggle they had to get there and stay there.And they don't let anyone get close to them.
