Jeannies Mom must have a blast with all the family members hovering around her.
However, I know from experience, that old people tire easily. My grandmother always send us on our way after two hours.

  5. Birthday party went well.Mom cheered up.Twins brought her a big bunch of flowers.Jakey videotaped it all. He's short so you get a lot of footage looking up people's nostrils.

Ohhhh, no chance you might find a similiar bear?
My daughter's fav stuffed was a black horse sold by IKEA. We went to the zoo and someone took it. She cried. I had to sneak to IKEA to get her a new one while she slept.

What was I about to do? She screamed and howled and I told her while she takes a nap I would try to find it.

I hope you can fix it. Kids hold such things very dear. I am still mad at the person who took our stuffed horse. Bastards

  17. The problem with the bear is that the fabric is shredded, but I'll do my best.I've warned all the kids that Maxy considers anything on the floor his personal property.
Max doesn;t know what all the fuss and crying was about.

We just where a few feet away when I noticed I had left the horse on the bench. I ran back - and it was gone.
When he was so desperate to steal a toy from a child I wonder how this person could afford the 30 bucks entrance fee for the zoo.

...,but a lot more people are begging ..

In Baja Califonia, every Saturday people are searching our garbage for some soda-cans. They sell them for a few pesos.

They are the poorest of the poor. A sack full of tin-cans brings them 20 bucks. A lot of money for some people.
I had kind of a culture-shock when I saw people doing that. My friend always collects them and puts them outside the door ready for everyone to take who comes by.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Anonymous10:19:00 PM

That is so wonderful, I know they will enjoy, was it Sammy with the car halloween.

  48. Anonymous10:23:00 PM

It is sad times when our goverment wants to bail out big companys and not help the poor...I do what I can try to get others to help..food kitchens ...meals on wheels etc..

  49. Up here we try to get them out of the cold.So many freeze to death.
Not all will go to the shelters.
We have people handing out sleeping bags, parkas, boots and gloves to street people. They go to the soup kitchens, but still sleep on the street.Tonight it,s twenty degrees below freezing.
