Forgiving

"Life is an adventurein forgiveness"
Peopleare by nature flawed. There will always betimes when we do things that are disappointing or hurtful to others.Sometimes these things are done on purpose;sometimes by accident.Ineither case, the result is the same:someone feels wronged.
It's tempting to hold on to these feelings of being wronged and to harbor grudges. But since we're as likely to wrong as be wronged, wouldn't the world be a better place if we could forgive others as we would like them to forgive us?
"I will try to forgive someone who has wronged me"

The Bitch Is Back

On yes , mad as hell, ain't gonna take it anymore, shit if you want somrthing done do it yourself.
Left last week going to "RENO"with my man, finish up some business. All I asked for is to get my lappy ,put it in the car...nice trip there made good time..checks in ...everything is still going fine.
It were there(3) drivers,my sister,my man and myself,we didn't drive through, you see I have to small ones...a four (4) year old and a five(5) week old,so you know where I were going to be,that is the reason I needed my "LAPPY".It wasn't with there,I wasm't worried,it was still in the car,right......noooooooo, no one put it in the car, still at home sitting beside the door...o.k. I will use one in the office...nooooooo,They couldn't spare one ,well what is a woman to do,I asked where was the nearest office supply store, everyone had a different store in mind...I thanked them and got the hell out there before I lost the little self-control I had left,so back to the suite.

My man come to carry us to lunch,I told that long ass bastard ,he none sis put my lappy in the car, asked him what am I to do,can't go or do anything, one baby holding to my skirt, the other one hanging on my jugs.
My man told me they were wraping it up by monday evening, good ,get plane tickets and carry my ass home, his dad and sis could drive the car home.
He told me he know what I needed, I looked at my man,I told him no fucking until I get back home ...maybe....I told him I might never fuck again.

I want one just like the one on the picture!

People who know us are well aware that we like to indulge in Fast Food from time to time. Equipped with a good metabolism we can eat what we want we hardly ever put on weight.

A few days ago, after we had been busy working our computer, our friend invited us to a late breakfast - at Carls Jr. From all the burger-selling places - McDonalds, BurgerKing etc - we like Carls Jr the most. While the prices are equal the personnel at Carls Jr. is much friendlier and they serve you the burger at the table.

Hungry we ordered the Carls-Jr-Monster-Breakfast. The picture outside the restaurant looked so yummy. We just had to have it. After odering and paying we sat down to enjoy our breakfast.
When we opened the wrapping paper we where disappointed.
The "monster breakfast" was only half the size of the one one the picture.
The bacon didn't look as yummy as on the picture.
The egg didn't look like on the picture.
The bun was only half the size.
In short our breakfast didn't look like the one on the picture.

We waved tothe friendly employee and asked him what he had served us.
"Carls Jr Monster Breakfast!" he answered.
We pointed out that the Monster Breakfast we got served didn't look like the one on the picture.
"But this is a Monster Breakfast!" the employee shrugged before he stalked off. (Meaning, that is all you get - like it or not!)

What do we learn from all this?

Just because something looks good/yummy on a picture doesn't mean it looks that way in reality too.
And that goes not only for burgers...LOL

RANT ABOUT CHRISTMAS STUFF

OKAY,so I was always passionate about all things Christmas. As a kid,I loved the tinsel, the sparkling star on the top of the tree, candy canes, twinkling lights, wreaths and garlands.I adored it all.

My mom made Christmas so magical. She made Christmas cakes and puddings. She made cookies and gingerbread men.The house was always redolent with warm spicy aromas.
Christmas eve we went to hear the choir singing carols on the steps of City Hall.Christmas morning was so exciting.....

ENOUGH REMINISCING!!THIS IS A FREAKIN RANT!!!!!

When I moved into my first home I started my own collection of Christmas stuff and traditions. My kids loved it,so I kept adding to my collection.Ornaments for the tree, the mantle, the windows;centre pieces for the tables .The outside of the house was lit up like a YOU KNOW WHAT.

People got the idea that the perfect gift for me ,no matter what the occasion, was some kind of Christmas geegaw. And so commenced a twenty year avalanche of Christmas knickknacks that would make WALMART SHUDDER WITH DISTASTE.

It became a contest.Who could buy me the NICEST ornament/geegaw?Then it became, who could buy me the BIGGEST nicknack/gimcrack?Now,it seems to be,who can buy me the BIGGEST,GAUDIEST,gimcrack/geegaw?
And,they DON'T FORGET what they've given me either.Every year they look for the special gifts they gave me.I have to put every one on display. If they don't see them they ask,"Where's that ornament we bought you last year? You know,we searched for hours to find just the right one for you.WE KNOW HOW YOU LOVE YOUR CHRISTMAS STUFF."

They started buying me little ceramic houses ,churches, shops and carol singers under lamp posts,so I could create a Christmas village. They got so carried away with it,I ended up with a FUCKING METROPOLIS,THE SIZE OF NEW YORK!!We didn't have a table big enough to hold it.

I've tried to fool them.I've artfully arranged big groupings of things,so I could leave out a few of the ugliest ones ;hoping, that in the mass confusion of glitter, they wouldn't notice .
THEY NOTICED!!I couldn't take the hurt looks.
So every year,I faithfully put out every cheap plastic ornament from my grandkids, every ceramic, wood, fabric and wax item from the older members in my family and even the BLOW UP SANTA AND REINDEER for the lawn(I wish I could remember the asshole who gave me that).

This year I intend to rent a blimp with an advertising space on it,and have it hover over every house that harbours people who have made Christmas so tortuous for me.It will simply say...NO MORE FUCKING CHRISTMAS STUFF!!!!.....thankyou..Jeannie.

I have no more storage. The basement is crammed. The garage is stuffed to the rafters.I've even taken over the garden shed.
I,however, came up with a brilliant,if devious plan. One of my daughters loves Christmas almost as much as I(used to)so,I have been, slowly, giving her a few of my Christmas ornaments at a time, and telling her,it is now her duty to carry on the family Christmas traditions.I'm going to try this on some of my other children too.How can they refuse, without hurting my feelings?(heh heh heh)

Christmas starts in October in Canada.Decorations on the lamp posts and in the malls .CHRISTMAS STUFF ON THE SHELVES,COMPETING WITH HALLOWEEN STUFF,FOR PETE'S SAKE.
I've noticed that mega-tons of ornaments and Christmas stuff are coming in from China this year. Some of them are especially pretty and nicely made. Some of them are so cute.....GOD HELP ME!!!!!!!....

Baja California

Baja California is a State with interesting places, big cities and many little typical towns, it offers peaceful and safe site to visit, so enjoy the warmth of personal hospitality of the people.
Whether you have come for a a day, gateway weekend or longer, Baja California is an interesting mixture of the typical and modern things with big cultural activities.

That is the offical Baja California......
....then there is the unofficial Baja California - the violent, dark and dangerous Baja California.

Yesterday, San Diego 10 News I-team broad-casted a report about the daily growing violence in the border-towns .In October alone 283 people have been killed in the gang-war between the mighty Sinaloa Cartel and the equally notorious Arellano-Felix-Cartel. Both groups want to control the city and will stop at nothing. San Diego 10 News now revealed that an American from Texas is a major player in the killings. The sad infamous highlight - a deadly shootout between "good" police officers and corrupt police officers paid by the cartels .

So far the sad facts.

They interviewed the chief of police. They asked him if he as the highest ranking police officer is safe in his city. He looked at the reporter and said:

"If I went to Iraq or Afghanistan I would be in a safer place."

We think that is one of the most note-worthy comments we have heard in a very long time. It is refreshingly open and honest. If the highest police officer isn't safe in a city then who really is?

RANT ABOUT COMMERCIALS

OKAY,so you see a very annoying commercial. You blow it off.Ten minutes later it comes on again.A little nerve jangles in the back of your brain. At the next break,up it pops again. You feel a tiny tic in your left cheek.

You're not looking forward to the end of the next segment.BEHOLD,the same aggravating people, the piercing voices, the annoying, yet somehow, catchy jingle.Your right eye starts winking involuntarily,in an alternate rhythm to your twitching cheek.

As your show winds down,(some have more frequent breaks than others)you're dreading the next commercial break.A Little voice pipes up from your frontal lobe(perhaps your inner child)."Please,no more. It's so annoying".They have no mercy. You are inundated again, with the same commercial. You notice your hands are trembling.

The show ends. The ads come on.You sit frozen, waiting for the inevitable.Tears sliding down your face, you can't look away.Your brain is screaming,"MAKE IT STOP!"

You have been preconditioned to expect the ad.They have you where they want you. They have just penetrated the barrier around your cerebral cortex. Now it's just a matter of wearing it down,a few sub atomic cells at a time.

Sometimes the next show has the same sponsor and because they don't coordinate the commercials from show to show, they might start with the same commercial,so you have two of the dreaded ads back to back. You feel your bowls loosen and stand in danger of soiling yourself.

At this point, those of us who have a tiny portion of brain still intact, stand up,twitching, winking, trembling, crying. We tighten our sphincter muscles and stiffen our spines and shout,"YOU WILL NOT VIOLATE ME ANY LONGER.YOU WILL NOT BRAIN WASH ME".

Well, honey, that's exactly what they're doing, and your kids too.Christmas is the most dangerous time of year.Manufacturers are rubbing their little hands together, wondering how best to turn your child into an advertisement saturated little zombie.

Be prepared for the avalanche of Christmas advertising, protect your children and be strong. If you find yourself humming that annoying wee jingle slap yourself,or get someone else to do it.
