Wholesale greed and betrayal of Michael Jackson's last wishes are at the heart of a bitter family battle over the future of the King of Pop kids !
That's what insiders are saying as they reveal some members of the showbiz clan are eyeing the innocent youngsters as little money-making machines.The famously dys-functional Jacksons are being torned apart by heated battles over:

** A push by some family members to exploit the kid's fame by throwing them into the music business as the "Jackson 3.

Even suggesting that the family should go against Michael's wishes is the ultimate act of betrayal, says the family source. "It's no great secert what Michael wanted for his kids." Michael didn't want to see them as someone's cash cows. To even suggest it is a disgrace. Family matriarch, Katherine, 79, is officially raising the trio with help from daughter Rebbie and a nanny---and a healthy allowance of $86,804 a month. Katherine is in charge, but everyone is chiming in with an opinion and it's gotten real ugly. The most recent battle erupted as the family prepared for their reality series, The Jacksons: A family Dynasty, set to premiere on the A&E Network in December. Despite a published report that the childrens would be featured in the series, a network exec says, "To our knowledge it isn't true."Jermaine kept pushing to get them on the show, saying it would push the rating through the roof. Katherine refused , saying Michael would be turning over in his grave if his kids ever showed up on something like this. Some say it wasn't the first move to capitalize on the "Jackson 3". The youngsters seem to have been born with natural ability. And don't forget Michael started out as a young child. It's a constant battle inside the family. But Katherine believes Michael was robbed of his childhood and would never want his children out their performing. There are other wars raging over the kids. Katherine is only interested in trying to get the children to live as normally as possible, says a source.
My take on this: The children lost their father June 25th, they haven't had time to grieve or heal, no MJ didn't have a childhood, he once said he remember some of the kids he went to school with, they grew up and he didn't. Yes the children would bring in big bucks, but at what cost ? Katherine , don't give in to those money hungry cash cows. Micheal's children deserves as normal a chidhood as possible, stick to your guns and tell your boys to hit the road with their beady fish-eyed daddy. Stay tune: the Jackson saga continues.

More Than One Third of Species Studied on Brink of Extinction

The Kihansi Spray Toad was listed as critically endangered in last year's Red List. This year it is categorised as extinct in the wild. The species was known only from the Kihansi Falls, Tanzania, where there was formerly a population of 17,000.

The Giant Jewel is known from a few areas in south-east Nigeria and south-west Cameroon. The IUCN says it is likely being threatened by forest destruction through selective logging and agricultural expansion.

The spectacular Queen of the Andes plant occurs in the Andes mountains of Peru and Bolivia. There is very little genetic variability between populations. It is thought to lack enough variability to adapt to both human pressure and climate change.

The Panay Monitor Lizard is endemic to the island of Panay in the Philippines. The lizard feeds largely on fruit, but degradation of its lowland forest habitat is thought to pose a serious threat to the species.

More than a third of species assessed in a major international biodiversity study are threatened with extinction, scientists have warned.
Out of the 47,677 species in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, 17,291 were deemed to be at very serious risk.
These included 21% of mammals, 30% of amphibians, 70% of plants and 35% of invertebrates. Conservationists warned that not enough was being done to tackle the main threats, such as habitat loss.
"The scientific evidence of a serious extinction crisis is mounting," warned Jane Smart, a scientist involved in the study

At what point will society truly respond to this growing crisis?
"The latest analysis... shows that the 2010 target to reduce biodiversity loss will not be met," Dr. Smart added.
"It's time for governments to start getting serious about saving species and make sure it's high on their agendas for next year, as we are rapidly running out of time."
The Red List, regarded as the most authoritative assessment of the state of the planet's species, draws on the work of thousands of scientists around the globe.
The latest update lists amphibians as the most seriously affected group of organisms on the planet, with 1,895 of the 6,285 known species listed as threatened. Of these, it lists 39 species as either "extinct" or "extinct in the wild". A further 484 are deemed "critically endangered", 754 "endangered" and 657 "vulnerable".

It is a time of crisis for the world's amphibians, says expert Helen Meredith. She says we may be facing our last chance to save this important group of animals.
They consume huge quantities of invertebrates, including humanity's most vilified pests and their crucial role in global ecosystems helps maintain healthy functioning environments.
A third of all species of amphibian are threatened with extinction; nearly half are in decline, and they are the most threatened of all the vertebrate groups.
If allowed to continue, the projected losses would constitute the largest mass extinction since the disappearance of the dinosaurs.They have been around on the planet for about 360 million years, arising over 100 million years before the first mammal and 200 million years before the first bird.

Gelsemium sempervirens, also known as yellow jasmine or wild woodbine, is a beautiful climbing plant found in moist woodlands and along seacoasts in the southern states of the U.S. It climbs high up in trees, forming festoons from tree to tree and perfuming the air in the spring when it flowers (March - May). It belongs to the same botanical family (Loganiaceae) as Nux vomica, Ignatia, Curare, Strychninum , and Spigelia (all homeopathic remedies) and should not be confused with the true jasmine plant, which belongs to the Jasminaceae family.
The homeopathic preparation is made from the fresh root.
Yellow jasmine is poisonous in large quantities and produces a state of great mental and physical weakness. The mind is sluggish, the muscles are sluggish, and the limbs feel so heavy they can hardly be moved.
The medical history of this plant is interesting and dates from the beginning of the 19th century when it was used in error by a Mississippi farmer. The farmer mistook Gelsemium root for another root that was prescribed for his fever. After recovering from the poisonous effects of Gelsemium, he was cured of the chronic fever from which he had been suffering. This accidental poisoning and cure led to Gelsemium being marketed as a (herbal) cure for fevers--and eventually, after a century and more of use and homeopathic experience, as a treatment for certain flus.

The two most frequently indicated homeopathic flu medicines over the past 100 years have been Gelsemium and Bryonia. There are significant differences in the symptom pictures of these two medicines that make it easy to decide which is the better fit. They are not the only medicines used to treat the flu, but between them they will probably fit the majority of cases.
The anecdotal reports I have heard are favorable. Dosage must be followed precisely, according to a homeopathic physician who has knowledge of the herbs.I have heard that Gelsemium relieves the symptoms of the H1N1 virus we are presently faced with.

Homeopaths and health stores can't keep up with the demands since the information has become more widely known. It is mixed with other soothing herbs and is usually infused into a tea. There are other ways to ingest it.I think it comes in a gel also.

I'm not an expert on the herb. I just report the information I find out there, floating around the planet. Alternative medicine is the choice of a growing number of people. Frankly I think there is room for both kinds of medicine(traditional and homeopathic). I'm all for whatever works.

The most common remedy used was Gelsemium, with occasional cases needing Bryonia and Eupatorium."

"Dr. Herbert A. Roberts from Derby, CT, said that 30 physicians in Connecticut responded to his request for data. They reported 6,602 cases with 55 deaths, which is less than 1%. Dr. Roberts was working as a physician on a troop ship during WWI. He had 81 cases of flu on the way over to Europe. He reported, "All recovered and were landed. Every man received homeopathic treatment including Gelsemium. One ship which used traditional treatment lost 31 men on the way."

" Main Streaming The CSI's "

Las Vegas is the first and best "CSI" Grissom ( William Petersen) developed his character to fit his role on the show...from my point of view that takes talent/character in an actor.
CSI: Las Vegas 3 of their main characters and still going strong, one character is back revising her role as Sara Sidler.( Jodie Foxx)
Csi:Miami scenery is beautiful, please note that's the best thing going for the show, The music is really awful, you can't understand it most of the time, you can't understand the lyrics to the songs most times.(And that's being nice).
The new guy on the block(CSI:M) was mis-cast, he gives a great performance when he's cast as a bad guy. He was believable in "Criminal Mind's" as the killer dad.
An actor/actress is only as good as the scripts he/she is given.
CSI:Miami needs new producers/directors that will give the writers a little space to bounce stuff off the wall and each other. Any project a group of people is working on together....they need space to let their minds roam. CSI:NY/LV seem to like each other, they even smile and make eye contact when doing a scence together. CSI:Miami instead of working together they are to stiff (robot maybe)trying to upstage each other....say their lines without any emotion and can't wait to get away from each other.
How about the producers having a trilogy crossover...I bet CSI:Miami producers would learn a thing or two. yes Grissom is my favorite, he gone , but the show is still going strong.
In a nutshell:William Petersen/Gary Sinse is producers/directors on their repective shows, has a say in the development of their shows. To the head hunchos at CSI:Miami, get back to basic, Your fan base is over 40 and counting, The only people that's keeping your show on is the people that remember Dave with his drawers off,(NYPD BLUE) but you have aimed it for the tweeters, one reason you lost the #1 most watched show in the world to House(Hugh Lauri)But hey, that's just me.
