Lawyers Enter Fray in Steven Seagal Sexual Assault Case

Shortly after the news that a 23-year-old former model is suing Steven Seagal for a bundle of sex-related charges, the action star's lawyer has weighed in:
"The lawsuit filed by Kayden Nguyen against Steven Seagal is a ridiculous and absurd claim by a disgruntled ex-employee who was fired for using illegal narcotics," Marty Singer, told CBS' Crimesider.

Alas, the plot thickens: Singer also wrote a letter to Nguyen's lawyer, E! reports, stating the lawsuit violates terms of confidentiality Nguyen agreed to when entering Seagal's employ in February. And now, the icing on this messy cake, the retort from Nguyen's lawyer, William Waldo:
"Please tell Steven Seagal two things. First, the cheap shot threats that might have intimidated other victims and their lawyers don't phase me. Save your ink. Second, Ms. Nguyen's claims are not going away. Five other victims called me yesterday."
Yet another gem to add to this hideous crown of controversy? CBS highlights a video of Nguyen saying," I can use my sex appeal to get any girl that I want and to trick any guy into getting what I want" on 'The Tyra Banks Show' in January 2009.

The lawsuit alleges Nguyen interviewed with Seagal to become his executive assistant. Nguyen claims she landed the job, but when she showed up for work, "Mr. Seagal had been keeping two young female Russian 'attendants' on staff who were available for his sexual needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
" Nguyen also claims, Seagal treated her "as his sex toy." Nguyen is suing for for sexual harassment, illegal trafficking of females for sex, failure to prevent sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and false representation about employment and wants more than $1 million dollars.
It sounds a little fishy. More than that, it sounds like a trumped up grab for money. As for the Russian sex slaves, that bears looking into a little more. Steven, have you really been naughty??
