A lawyer for President Donald Trump has filed a court document arguing that the hush-money agreement with adult film actress Stormy Daniels is not valid and calling for removal of the president from a lawsuit seeking to dissolve the deal.
The filing in Los Angeles federal court by Trump’s attorney Charles Harder says that “Mr. Trump hereby stipulates that he does not, and will not, contest Ms. Clifford’s assertion that the Settlement Agreement was never formed, or in the alternative, should be rescinded,” The Wall Street Journal reported.
The filing comes a day after Michael Cohen also moved to rescind the non-disclosure deal. Cohen said he arranged at Trump’s instruction to pay Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump before the presidential election. Trump, however, never signed the deal.
Cohen and Trump’s attorney said in their filings that they will not sue Daniels for any breach of the deal. Cohen pleaded guilty to eight federal felonies last month, including illegally interfering in the presidential election with the payment to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.
Daniels sued Cohen and the president to dissolve the agreement. She’s also suing Cohen and Trump for defamation.
Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti slammed the moves by Trump and Cohen, insisting they’re part of a strategy to block lawsuit depositions about any other possible payoffs to keep information hidden. Avenatti tweeted that he has never before seen a “defendant so frightened to be deposed as Donald Trump.”

The Stormy Daniels deal was important in the federal campaign violation case against Cohen.
If the deal is deemed invalid or rescinded, Daniels will be free to tell her story.

If Trump cares at all about our country he should just say thank you for the opportunity to take on this job but I am backing down. For an entire year he has recreated the Presidents job title to be something that it never has been in history and that is a complete joke. He has spent an entire year defending his child like comments and blaming everyone around him for the fact that things did not go well because he simply has no idea what he is doing. It's that simple.
TRUMP WAS RIGHT! He said during the election campaign that if I voted for Hillary, I'd be stuck with a lying corrupt criminal President under constant investigation from day one. Turns out he was right, I voted for Hillary and I'm stuck with a lying, corrupt, criminal President under Federal investigations since day one!
Trump and his family are destroying this country. November can't come soon enough. If only then maybe we can get him to shut up. We need to stuff a sock in his mouth and get him an orange suit.
One last thought : Trump is everything that a young person growing up in this country should never look up to and that says everything. . He is a known liar, cheats on his wife, paid off a porn star to not tell people about his own actions, spent 20 years not paying taxes on millions, said that he was so popular that he could grab any woman he wanted to in the crotch and get away with it and 5 times dodged the draft so he would not have to serve his country. He is an embarrassment to our country and the title of the President and he needs to go away.

What a great idea to put Trump at the head of the line for a polygraph test. A pathological liar would break the machine. His presidency has revolved entirely around himself and what he can get from it, business contacts, profits, tax breaks and public adulation. He still feels and acts like the star of a TV show. The Woodward book and the op ed in the New York Times portray him as an amoral, paranoid, selfish child with the comprehension of a grade fiver. They left out criminal and probable child rapist if one of the 3500 outstanding lawsuits by and against him are true. He's a total screwup.

Trump is an embarrassment, not just to America but to the whole democratic western world. If there was any justice, he would end up in an orange jumpsuit to match his fake tan. He deserves prison for his racism and misogyny alone.
But I think he will wriggle out of it just as he wriggled out of serving his country with fake bone spurs. All I can add is 'go get him Stormy!'
