We shouldn't wait for the perfect moment to give a compliment or do a favor.Moments come and go too quickly,if we wait for them,we likely to miss them altogether.We should always indulge an urge to do something nice for others.When the impulse hits,go with it.Give the compliment,do the favor,say something that will cheer a friend.
There may be times we feel like giving up,everyone has these moments...life is an adventure,and sometimes its an adventure that gets the best of us.We keep on, and we will keep on....around the next corner is something we haven't seen before....it could be something wonderful....just show a little kindness,it won't cost you anything but a smile...I will continue on this adventure of life as long as I can...if I should meet you along the way,I will share something with you...I don't want to miss the chance to be kind to those around me,so I won't....every day, I can do something to better the world,even if it's just offering a kind word to someone who needs it.I will try to make my good habits stronger than my bad habits,I will list all my habits so that I can tract how well I'm enforcing the good ones and extinguishing the bad ones, I enjoy laughing with new people...it helps me to get to know them better....
With an act of kindness I will try to be open to new friendships....maybe even unlikely friendships....Try to do an act of kindness each day,the world will be a better place...as I always say....one person at a time....But hey, that's just me.(GIGGLES)

ReplyDeleteWhile I was getting a haircut today I met a ninety year old lady.What a sweetheart.She had about twenty hairs on her head but she wanted them to look perfect.She had recently fallen and hurt her back so she couldn't walk too well.She was so cheerful and charming she brought tears to my eyes.I wanted to keep her,or at least trade her for Nana.

Sammy signed up for ball hockey.Jakey was in a chess tournament all day yesterday.He won almost all the games.I don't know how he does it.I always had trouble understanding chess.Sam keeps getting love letters and emails from a girl who adores him.He's a handsome guy.

Friday I have to go to a special ceremony at the Karate dojo.The twins are getting their blue belts.Sammy is very good at karate.Jakey does amazingly well considering he's such a skinny little guy.
ReplyDeleteI know nothing about chess...both my twins are handsome...Sammy is just a hunk...not to worry..Jakey will catch up,it just taking him longer...those are some smart twins,just in different ways..

ReplyDeleteGil sounds like a very nice man.Brian is a very simple guy.Down to earth.No fancy education,just what he got in technical school and knocking around the world in the army.He was so different before he got ill.I hardly know him now,but now and then,I see the old Brian shine through for a minute.He used to be a tough guy.
