SAN DIEGO -- A man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stopping at an accident site and stealing the purse of a pregnant woman who suffered fatal injuries in a rollover crash on Interstate 5 in Solana Beach, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
A witness told authorities a motorist in a Subaru station wagon briefly stopped at the crash scene and scooped up Yine Gonzalez's purse after it dropped onto the freeway early Sunday morning. I am glad,hope they get the bitch soon...WE are sinking fast..no help in the near future...this country is going to pot,we need help fast,but a lot of people don't think we will get it.

ReplyDeleteI just watched the Barbara walters/Patrick Swayze interview.How sad,you can see iminent death in his eyes.My dad died of the same thing five years ago.
ReplyDeleteIf they could catch it early they could help more,but in the early stages there are no symptoms.
By the time it's discovered,it's usually too late.
He's a very nice man.
That poor lady ran into two world class ass-holes on the same day,literally(three if you count the woman who got away).

ReplyDeleteI saw a trailer of the interview. Sawzye looks really bad. I was shocked. I think it won't be too long. As sad and as horrible that is.
Pancreatic cancer is incurable. Doesn't matter when you catch it. It is one of the rare forms of cancer that there is no cure for.
ReplyDeleteWhen they discovered Dad's pancreatic cancer,they gave him three months.He died in six weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is,that kind of cancer spreads to the other organs very quickly.The kidneys,gallbladder,
stomach,and liver.In Dad's case,all were affected.
I would think,in Patrick's case,it has spread by now.
He's a very sweet man,married to the same woman for twenty something years,still devoted to each other.He keeps working.You gotta admire that.
ReplyDeleteI think it most definitelty is, yes. And the meds also seem to have taken a toll on him. And that he still smokes doesn't help either.

Although they have a treatment now,if they catch it early enough.They had not finished testing it when Dad got sick,and so they put him on morphine with a self administered pump,and left him at home with us.

There is a combination-therapy (chemo plus stem-cells) which helps the patient to deal with the pain and raises the mediane survival rate from 3 months to 6 months (New England Journal of Medicine)

ReplyDeleteIt is a valid alternative to chemo who can have very strong side-effecrs.
Often they use combination-regimen when the first-line therapies fail. It is kind of a last resort.

That is good to hear. There are a few very famous cancer-treatment facilities in Germany who solely rely on traditional medicine. They have a very strong opinion where homopaethic medicine is concerned. Sloan-Kettenring is the most renowned cancer center in the US.
